Aaron & Kim Diaz

Serving at Creando Sendas.
We live in Puebla, Mexico and serve as the directors of Creando Sendas (Creating Paths) Soup Kitchen. Kim was born and raised in Abbotsford, BC and Aaron was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico. Our story began when we met while serving together at another soup kitchen in Guadalajara. We were married in March 2017. In 2019, we started our own family. Raising our child has been an adventure and a blessing.

Together, we are called to serve children who come from very low-income families or in some cases, live on the streets. Our goal is for the soup kitchen to be used as a tool, not only to fill bellies but also to see children come to Christ; learning what it means to follow Him and be a safe haven for those that need protection and encouragement.

Aaron works as the Administrator of the soup kitchen and oversees any construction projects at the soup kitchen. I, Kim, serve in the kitchen and help oversee all incoming donations. In addition, I also disciple some of the children who regularly come to the soup kitchen. We love working here and see God working in and through every child that comes to be fed and we use this opportunity to introduce them to the “Bread of Life”. We see great benefit in investing our time in the lives of these children through building trusting relationships. We are grateful for the many things God has blessed us with and we pray that God continues to guide us in loving and caring for each child in the same way God has shown love and care for us.

Thank you for all your prayers and support!
