Children of Hope began in 2006 with a call. We saw the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the children living in orphanages. Children of Hope was founded in response to these needs.

Over the years we have experienced incredible testimonies of transformed lives. As we continue to invest in the lives of children, we look back and see fruit, and we look toward to the future in hope and anticipation. We are thankful for our genuine, gifted and loving caregivers who pour into the lives of these children and see the potential they have. Through the hard work and dedication of our caregivers, the children begin to be transformed and realize their value in their Savior Jesus Christ.

It takes a community of people like you in order for us to reach the goal of helping children in Mexico! We have a child sponsorship program which is set up for the children ministries (orphanages) and soup kitchens to receive monthly support to help cover the general needs of the children; we have short-term mission groups that help the orphanages with projects, needs, and build relationship with the children; we have full time Canadian staff in Mexico who function as overseers of our different ministries; we have faithful donors who desire to see children prosper; and we give opportunities for our caregivers to be trained through workshops so that they are best equipped for the ministry and children serve. We have a God given call to help and so we desire to ensure that we do this to the best of our ability.

Our mission is to serve Christ by giving an opportunity for better life to children in Mexico.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:15-17).
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6).
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:15; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4).
We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in spiritual renewal by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. (Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. (Galatians 5:16-18; Romans 8:9).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment. (Revelation 20:11-15; I Corinthians 15:51-57).
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church. (Ephesians 1:22-23; I Corinthians 12:12, 27).
We believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the church and each Christian. (Romans 10:9-15; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20; I Peter 3:15).

Administration Fees

10% fee for all donations other than team-related donations
7% admin fee for team donations

0% fees are applied to ALL donations received in support of Children of Hope field staff/missionaries.

Children of Hope pays for the Credit Card processing fees out of General fund donations for those credit card donations which have NOT included to cover the processing fees. It is a HUGE help if the donor covers these fees, and not to mention they are tax deductible.

Since 2022, the Children of Hope board has been assessing the administrative fees that have been received to consider giving them back to the ministries if CoH has had all operational expenses covered for that tax year. This decision is made at the annual general board meeting in May or June of each year.

In 2023 over $74,000 in Admin fees were given back to the children’s ministries!

Children of Hope is a member of the Canadian Centre of Christian Charities. Every year our books are reviewed by an independent accounting firm. Children of Hope respects the wishes of our donors in designating their donations to where specified or if not stated the funds are applied to where the need is the greatest. As a Christian charity, we know that we are stewards of what our heavenly Father entrusts to us and so make sure our financial practices reflex this in meeting all accounting responsibilities with the Canadian government and our donors.
