Familia Cristiana Bethel A.C. was legally instituted on September 30, 2009. Throughout these 14 years, 324 girls, boys, and adolescents have been cared for. The vast majority of the children have stayed temporarily, but there always has been an average of 12 children permanently in our home. Several of these children have already graduated from university (4 in total), and others are still with us and continue with their studies.
The foundation of Casa Hogar Bethel is rooted in the word of God and in the belief that every child deserves a safe and loving home. The facility focuses on addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs of the children under its care. The dedicated staff members work tirelessly to create a family-like atmosphere, ensuring that the children feel secure and valued.
One of the key aspects of Casa Hogar Bethel’s mission is to provide a holistic approach to child development. This includes a strong emphasis on education, with the aim of empowering the children for a brighter future. The facility typically collaborates with local schools to ensure that the children receive quality education, fostering a sense of self-worth and opening doors to opportunities.
In addition to academics, Casa Hogar Bethel places a significant emphasis on extracurricular activities and skill development. This comprehensive approach aims to equip the children with the tools they need to navigate life successfully. From sports to arts and vocational training, the facility seeks to identify and nurture the unique talents of each child.
The caring and supportive environment at Casa Hogar Bethel extends beyond basic necessities. The staff members, often functioning as surrogate family members, strive to build strong relationships with the children. Emotional well-being is a priority, and various counseling and therapy services are offered to address any trauma or challenges the children may have faced before arriving at the facility.
Casa Hogar Bethel’s impact is not confined to the walls of the facility. The organization actively engages with the local community, fostering awareness about the needs of vulnerable children and promoting a culture of care and compassion. This community involvement not only helps garner support but also creates a network of resources that benefit the children in the long run.
Volunteerism is another cornerstone of Casa Hogar Bethel’s success. The facility actively encourages individuals to contribute their time and skills to enrich the lives of the children. Volunteers may assist with various activities, ranging from tutoring and mentoring to organizing recreational events. This collaborative approach enhances the sense of community and reinforces the idea that it takes a collective effort to make a meaningful impact. To God be the glory!
